It was first reported by PWInsider.com that Kevin Nash is strongly being considered for an induction into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class.

Nash is a former WWF Champion, WWF Intercontinental Champion, two-time WWF Tag Team Champion and five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

PWInsider.com is now reporting that Nash would be going in as “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel and not under his real name.

Scott Hall, Nash’s tag team partner in The Outsiders in WCW, was inducted as Razor Ramon last year.

The reason why Nash would be inducted as Diesel is because WWE owns the rights to the name.

Once his induction is confirmed, the plan is for Nash to close the ceremony as one of the headline speeches.

Shawn “HBK” Michaels is expected to be the one inducting his long-time friend.

Editor’s Note

If Nash is going to be inducted, I’m surprised WWE has yet to announce it. As one of the biggest acts to have wrestled for both WWE and WCW, you’d think the company would try to put more of an emphasis on his induction. I can’t wait to hear his speech, though. He’s one of the most intelligent guys the business has ever seen.
