MVP’s run with TNA Wrestling appears to be over.

He later tweeted out that he was ready to take independent bookings once again.

Finally, Montel Vontavious Porter declared that the Beatdown Clan in TNA “is dead.”
The BDC is dead. But never in spirit…

All of this comes on the heels of TNA being hit with a cease and desist letter following it’s use of Hernandez, who is apparently still under contract with Lucha Underground.
Because of this, all segments filmed involving Hernandez will have to be cut from future airings of “Impact Wrestling,” which could explain why MVP said the BDC was no more.
Lucha Underground had been reportedly working towards granting the former TNA Tag Team Champion his release, but that was not able to go into effect until Aug. 5 when the season finale aired.
Editor’s Note
So how soon until MVP joins Global Force Wrestling, right? That seems to be the trend these days anyway.
