The changes for TNA Wrestling and its flagship show continue to roll on through.
According to a report by PWInsider.com, “TNA Impact Wrestling” may be moving to Wednesday nights as soon as June.
There was reportedly a great deal of talk going on at TNA’s offices in Nashville recently over a potential night change.
Destination America, the main network “Impact Wrestling” is currently on, is worried that the program won’t consistently pull solid ratings as we enter the summer months.
It was recently reported that the network regrets signing a multi-year, multi-million deal with the wrestling company, although Destination America was happy with the initial ratings when the show hit its airwaves.
TNA President Dixie Carter is also telling members of the company and her talent roster to ignore all negative reports they made read on the dirt sheets involving viewership.
With morale in the locker room already at an all-time low, it’s difficult to say how much longer things can stay afloat with TNA nearing its wits end.
Editor’s Note
TNA continues grasping at straws with everything it does. While this change appears to be on the basis of what Destination America wants, it’s clear that the relationship between TNA and the network has soured a great deal.
