The Undertaker’s WWE Contract Reportedly Set to Expire Soon, What His Future Holds
Having just turned 50 years old in March, it’s clear that the Undertaker’s WWE career is slowly coming to an end.
According to the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Undertaker’s contract with the company is set to expire very soon.
Don’t you frown, though, as it’s believed he will undoubtedly continue working with WWE in some capacity.
The plan is for the two parties to come to terms on a new deal that will go beyond the standard Legends contract.
He hasn’t been seen since defeating Bray Wyatt one-on-one at WrestleMania 31 in Levi’s Stadium.
PWInsider.com reported after the pay-per-view that Undertaker was telling those backstage how great he felt following the bout with Wyatt, which was a nice change from how things ended against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX.
WWE has teased fans with a potential Undertaker vs. Sting encounter at AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 32, even going as far as foreshadowing the match in a piece for WWE.com.
Both Undertaker and Sting will be a part of the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con Chicago event in August on behalf of WWE.
Sam and Adam Daley of WrestlingRumors.net recently discussed the dream match in a video over on our official YouTube page.
