The Undertaker will be looking to to boost his historic record at WrestleMania to 23-1 next year in Texas at AT&T Stadium.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE officials are looking at three possible opponents to go one-on-one with “The Deadman” at the pay-per-view: Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Braun Strowman.
Undertaker hasn’t squared off with Cena since his “Doctor of Thuganomics” gimmick. This potential dream match has been rumored for years, with WrestleMania 32 perhaps being the last time WWE can realistically pull it off.
During WWE’s upcoming tour of Mexico, Undertaker will be reuniting with Kane to reform the Brothers of Destruction to take on Luke Harper and Braun Strowman of The Wyatt Family. Strowman being booked against the legendary superstar would be a testament to the amount of confidence WWE has in the giant.
Undertaker’s immediate future, though, lies at WWE “Hell in a Cell” on Oct. 23 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as he’ll face Brock Lesnar inside the demonic structure in the third and final bout of their epic trilogy.
