The next three days will be jam-packed with WWE action, with “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” airing on Saturday, “SummerSlam” on Sunday, and “Monday Night Raw” the following night.
“As noted in this WrestlingObserver.com article: WWE SummerSlam: Steve Austin, Ric Flair & post-SS RAW Steve Austin is leaving NYC before SummerSlam, but Ric Flair is heading into town. It also sounds like something big will be happening on Raw this Monday.”
There’s no word yet at this time as to what WWE has in store.
This “big” moment may stem off of what takes place during the main events of “SummerSlam,” with Seth Rollins set to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against United States Champion John Cena in a “Winner Take All” match, as well as Brock Lesnar squaring off with The Undertaker.
Editor’s Note
This is PURE speculation at this time, but I have a gut feeling that we’re going to see Sting, either at the pay-per-view or on television Monday. This would be to set up the epic confrontation of Undertaker vs. Sting at WrestleMania 32. I could be way off with this, but it seems like the appropriate way for “SummerSlam” to go off the air this weekend.
