As we previously reported here at WrestlingRumors.net, WWE referee Marc Harris, along with 10 other talents/superstars, was released from the company this past Thursday.
Many perceived Harris’ lack of ability as a referee to be the reason behind his dismissal. He’s made several noticeable mistakes while doing his job during televised matches, whether it be delivering a three-count when a superstar kicks out, or not seeing submissions/tap outs take place.
Now, according to numerous reports, it appears that Harris’ release has a lot to do with some things he said on his social media account.
A few months ago, Harris got into a “Twitter War” with former WWE official Jimmy Korderas.
WWE has a strict policy on employees getting involved in any drama over social media, so because of his rant against Korderas, Harris was a sitting duck.
He had this to say on his Twitter page following the news of his release:
Thanks to all my fans and friends. Your truly awesome. Its impossible to hold me down. Watch what happens next ????

Editor’s Note
Even if his “Twitter Rant” as as bad as the company has made it out to be, that can’t be the only reason he was let go. With all due respect to Harris, the blunders he made during matches were inexcusable.
