It was first reported by PWInsider.com that Butch Miller and Luke Williams of The Bushwackers are set to be inducted into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class.
In an interview with Stuff.co.nz, Bushwacker Luke talked about what it means to him to receive the induction:
“All I can say is ‘about bloody time.'”
“I’m proud to be a Kiwi going into the Hall of Fame. We’re the first people from Australia or New Zealand to go in.”
“I’m like an ambassador for the country.”

The Bushwackers never won the WWE Tag Team Championship, but they did hold gold in NWA Mid-Atlantic, Stampede Wrestling and several other organizations.
They would become the sixth tag team to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a pair, joining The Valiant Brothers, The Blackjacks, The Wild Samoans, The Brisco Brothers and The Funk Brothers. The Legion of Doom were inducted as a trio.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage, Rikishi and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been confirmed as inductees.
Editor’s Note
Several controversial additions to the WWE HOF this year. Do Luke and Butch deserve it? Well, they were certainly over during their time. That accounts for something.
