On July 20 at the WWE “Battleground” special event, former Shield members will collide as Dean Ambrose takes on Seth Rollins for the first time on a WWE pay-per-view.

Ambrose has been a thorn in Rollins’ side ever since “Mr. Money in the Bankturned his back on his former comrades on the June 2 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

Working as a close associate of Triple H and the Authority, Rollins has decided to focus his attention on building his own name and finding success as a singles competitor. Unfortunately for him, Ambrose will never get over the aforementioned attack and has made it his mission to make Rollins’ life absolutely miserable.

These two superstars engaged in series of matches in Florida Championship Wrestling in 2011 that were considered some of the best bouts the brand had ever put on.

One of the more notable ones was over the FCW 15 Championship with a 30-minute time limit.

This feud is expected go through the next three special events, possibly culminating at WWE “Night of Champions.”

Editor’s Note

This is the match a majority of us have been dying to see on the main roster. I’m surprised WWE isn’t holding this off until WWE “SummerSlam” next month, but I’m not complaining. Bring it on!
