A new ring announcer will take over duties for “Monday Night Raw” later tonight after Justin Roberts was released by World Wrestling Entertainment on Oct. 13.
No details have yet to be revealed over why Roberts was let go, although some believe that it could have to do with WWE wanting to go in a different direction.
MetsFan4Ever, a Reddit user who has broken several inside WWE stories, revealed the name of who the company is planning on working the Oct. 20 edition of “Raw” in Kansas City:
“For the time being, Lillian Garcia will once again take over the role of lead WWE ring announcer. Lillian will be announcing Raw while Eden Stiles will announce SmackDown.”
He also noted that the decision could change several times before the show airs.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported on Wednesday that Eden was set to work “Raw” with Lillian staying on for “SmackDown” tapings. That could always end up being the case.
Lillian is no stranger to working “Raw” after being the announcer from 1999 to 2009.
She’s currently traveling with WWE after handling duties for the two-day tour of Mexico.
Update: Joey Styles confirmed on Twitter that Lillian will indeed be working “Raw” with “Eden” taking over on “Smackdown.”

Editor’s Note
With all due respect to Justin Roberts, I’d rather look at Eden Stiles or Lillian Garcia. All three are talented, though. Just a preference.
