Christian York Released By TNA

In a cost-cutting maneuver by the company, TNA Impact Wrestling has released Christian York from their roster, according to a report by PWInsider.com.

York is a previous winner of the TNA Gutcheck challenge.

He had a short run with ECW near the end of its existence, losing to Jerry Lynn in the last ever match on ECW Hardcore TV.

York last competed on the May 16th edition of TNA Impact, losing to Jay Bradley in a Gutcheck Contenders Bound for Glory Series Qualifying match.
