As previously reported here at WrestlingRumors.net, WWE superstar Sheamus may have underwent surgery on Nov. 20.
He recently tweeted out the following picture of him lying in a hospital bed getting prepped for an undisclosed operation.

WWE.com later confirmed that Sheamus had suffered a left cervical neurapraxia (stinger in arm), bone spurring, narrowing of the spinal canal (spinal stenosis) and narrowing of the nerve canals (neuroforaminal) along with nerve compression in his neck.
Because of this injury, Sheamus was pulled from Team Cena in the Traditional Elimination Tag Team match on Nov. 23 at “Survivor Series.” He was replaced by Erick Rowan.
Although many perceived this injury to be part of a storyline, PWInsider.com is now reporting that “The Celtic Warrior” is in fact hurt.
The angle on “Monday Night Raw” with Mark Henry putting Sheamus through the announce table was used as a means to write him off television.
There’s no word at this time of when he’ll be able to return to the ring.
Editor’s Note
It all makes sense now. It’s just unfortunate considering all of the top-notch talent currently on the sidelines due to injury.
