Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann was arrested this weekend, and his WWE future is in major jeopardy.
The 205 Live star was involved in an altercation with his wife, independent wrestling competitor Su Yung. According to a police report filed, Swann was critiquing Yung on her performance following her match at a show, and it escalated.
As a result of allegedly putting Yung in a headlock to force her back into the car, which was confirmed by a witness, Swann was arrested and sent to the Alachua County Jail in Gainesville, Florida.

Due to this altercation, WWE issued a statement that announced the indefinite suspension of Swann. Swann was released from the prison under certain conditions. However, according to the Wrestling Observer, Swann is not expected to return to WWE.
The 26-year-old became very popular during his time in the indies, namely for competing for promotions such as CZW, EVOLVE, and PWG. His superb showing in the Cruiserweight Classic landed him a full-time spot on the roster, and he would defeat Brian Kendrick to become Cruiserweight Champion on the premier episode of 205 Live.
