Becky Lynch Reveals Status For WWE Women’s ‘Royal Rumble’ Match

On a recent episode of SmackDown Live, Becky Lynch tried to assist Naomi from the attack of the debuting Riott Squad, which includes Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan. The trio would viciously attack Lynch, putting her on the shelf from in-ring action. In actuality, this was a way to keep her off of television, while she films the Marine 6 alongside fellow WWE colleagues Shawn Michaels and The Miz.

The group of former NXT talent did what they felt was necessary to immediately make a name for themselves, as you can see below.

Since then, Lynch has been sure to show her excitement about filming the movie. She posted a picture of her and Michaels, giving the WWE Hall of Famer praise for the hard work during his role in the movie. She also posted a pic of the three wrapping up week two, stating, “Feel so insanely lucky to be working with such a great bunch of folks!”

As the filming of the movie is coming to a close, there is expectation that both her and The Miz will be returning to their respective brands soon. Since no definitive timetable has been set, a fan posted a picture, stating that she cannot wait for her return and hopes that she can make it to the Royal Rumble.

Lynch stated, “I won’t make it to the royal rumble. I will make the royal rumble.”

Although Lynch is not a favorite to win the Royal Rumble, her return can definitely help boost her momentum and popularity, as well as settle her unfinished business with the Riott Squad.
