During the May 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” WWE announced that it will be bringing back its “Elimination Chamber” pay-per-view on May 31. The event will be shown exclusively on the WWE Network, which is free for new subscribers in May. Currently, there are four matches slated for the event, two of which will be contested inside the Elimination Chamber.
The show will take place in Corpus Christi, Texas at the American Bank Center on Sunday, May 31. The arena was originally slated to hold a simple WWE live event. Though, WWE made the decision to bring back the “Elimination Chamber” event earlier in the month, forcing a quick change for the planned house show.
Additionally, due to the timing of the decision, WWE had to make a change to a previously conflicting live event on May 31. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina was scheduled to host a house show, featuring John Cena and Rusev, the same day of “Elimination Chamber.” However, the date of the event has now been changed, according to the arena’s website.
Instead, the arena will host the Nov. 16 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Those who bought tickets, whether it be through the local box office or online, can get their tickets refunded. If they so choose, they can also obtain tickets for the showing of “Monday Night Raw” at the same price.
