When the WWE Network launched on Monday, Feb. 24., all members of the WWE Universe were able to sign up for a one week free trial in order to decide whether or not they would like to purchase the WWE Network for six months, at $9.99 per month. With the free trial set to expire at 9:00 a.m. EST on Monday, March 3, PWInsider is reporting that WWE will be adding a lot more content at this time.
The idea behind WWE’s plan is that the company wanted those who used the free trial to have enough content to sample in an effort to make them sign-up for the WWE Network afterwards, according to PWInsider. However, WWE did not want to give them everything at once, while the WWE Network is still free to them.
Fans who have already paid for a subscription to WWE Network will have to wait and see on what content is added, as that is unknown at this time. Perhaps WWE will launch more of its original content on the WWE Network such as “Legends House” and “The Monday Night War.” Additionally, more episodes of “Monday Night Raw,” “WWE Smackdown,” and maybe even episodes of “WCW Monday Nitro” will be added as fans relive the esteemed Attitude Era with the jammed-packed On Demand pay-per-view library.
