Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards, who are best known for their stint in Ring of Honor as The American Wolves recently performed a tryout for WWE at its Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. The tryout came following the two working a NXT live event as The American Pitbulls in November.

According to PWInsider, at first, the tryout for Edwards and Richards was not leading to a deal with the company. Although, the idea was that if the two worked well and were liked during the first week of the tryout, they would be brought back for the first couple of months of 2014. There, the two sides would then reach a deal if everything still went smoothly. At this time there is no word on whether the two will be back for the new year, but it is expected that Edwards and Richards will continue to work at the WWE Performance Center in 2014.

Along with that, PWInsider is also reporting that TNA is heavily interested in bringing in both Edwards and Richards. There is even talk going around the company that TNA has or will soon make a play for the two to join its company.
