Update on Cody Rhodes’ “Firing”

On the September 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE superstar Cody Rhodes was fired by the COO of the company, Triple H. “The Game” put Rhodes’ career on the line in an impromptu match that pitted Rhodes against WWE Champion Randy Orton. Rhodes’ resulting loss led to his firing.

F4WOnline has confirmed what we previously published, stating that Rhodes will be taking time off to get married and then go on his honeymoon. However, Rhodes’ departure was likely a last-minute situation. According to F4WOnline, Rhodes’ departure was planned, but due to lack of communication between superstars and the current WWE creative team, his leaving was rushed during Monday Night Raw.
