With less than two weeks of WWE programming left until the 2014 “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view, the match card for the event is starting to come together. On the Oct. 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” a double main event was set in stone, which will see two matches conducted inside the demonic cell structure. In one bout, Dean Ambrose will take on Seth Rollins inside the Hell in a Cell, and Randy Orton and John Cena will do the same in the other main event match.
Additionally, WWE confirmed that Rusev will take on Big Show at the pay-per-view. The company also announced a unique “Loser Becomes Winner’s Bitch” match between Nikki and Brie Bella.
Another report by WWE.com has confirmed that United States Champion Sheamus will attempt to successfully defend his gold against Miz at the “Hell in a Cell” event. Miz will be accompanied by the ever-so-popular Damien Mizdow, Miz’s stunt double. As of late, Mizdow has been getting more attention than Miz for his unique actions outside of the ring during Miz’s matches.
Sheamus had held onto the United States Championship since winning it in a battle royal on the May 5 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Miz is not expected to be the one to dethrone Sheamus. Instead, there have been reports and even teases that Rusev will be the next in line to challenge Sheamus.
Editor’s Note
I do expect Sheamus to beat Miz here, and have a new challenger, hopefully Rusev, move on to face Sheamus. I’d also say there’s a decent chance we see Mizdow turn face on Miz during this bout.
