With WrestleMania 31 drawing nearer and nearer, inductees into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class continue to be revealed. As of this writing, three 2015 WWE Hall of Fame members have been confirmed: the headliner “Macho Man” Randy Savage, celebrity wing inductee Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Rikishi. Additionally, it is all but confirmed that territory legend Ray Stevens will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.
A recent report from PWInsider revealed two more potential names for the WWE Hall of Fame this year. According to the website, the names of Kevin Nash and Ivan Koloff have been thrown around as possible inductees.
Koloff, 72, had a successful tenure in the World Wide Wrestling Federation, the promotion of Vince McMahon Sr., during the 1970s. It was Koloff who ended Bruno Sammartino’s 2,803 day reign as WWWF Champion at an event in Madison Square Garden on Jan. 18, 1971.
Kevin Nash, on the other hand, is a more contemporary wrestling star who found success in both WWE and WCW during wrestling’s heyday in the mid-to-late 1990s. Nash’s name has been thrown around for a WWE Hall of Fame induction on numerous occasions, with it only being a matter of time before “Big Daddy Cool” is immortalized.
Editor’s Note
These would be two great additions to the WWE Hall of Fame. If Nash gets in, will he go in as “Diesel,” like Scott Hall went in as “Razor Ramon?” Speaking of Hall, you would have to expect he will induct Nash, should he get in.
