With WWE’s biggest event of the year, WrestleMania, less than three weeks away, the company has continued its feverish work for the “Show of Shows.” Recently, WWE issued a casting call for male extras to portray a Russian solider. In all likelihood, the casting call signifies the company’s plan to give Rusev a grand entrance at WrestleMania 31, seeing him come to the ring with Russian soldiers in tow.
Similarly, WWE has now been rumored to have issued a casting call for extras to portray scarecrows at WrestleMania 31. Here, there is a bit more ambiguity as to which WWE star may contain scarecrows in his entrance at WrestleMania.
Following the rumors surfacing, fan speculation sees two potential WWE stars containing scarecrows in his entrance: Sting and Bray Wyatt. The former seems to be more likely to receive a grand entrance at WrestleMania, as it will be the first time Sting has competed in WWE. Additionally, with the continued mystique of Sting, scarecrows may suit him better than Wyatt. On the other hand, Wyatt received a special entrance at WrestleMania XXX in 2014, seeing his theme song played live prior to squaring off against John Cena.
Editor’s Note
If WWE does indeed utilize scarecrows at WrestleMania 31, Sting would be the safest bet for sure. Though, scarecrows could also make the entrance of Bray Wyatt or The Undertaker that much more surreal.
