As WWE announced on the April 14 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” in honor of the late great Ultimate Warrior, WWE Network will have a week of programming dedicated to Warrior. It began today, Tuesday, April 15. During Tuesday’s coverage of “Warrior week,” WCW legend Sting made an appearance.
Sting’s first appearance for WWE came on the WWE Network, as he shared his memories of Warrior on “Warrior Week.” Sting talked about his beginnings alongside Warrior and how when they first began to train, Warrior would put tuna fish and orange juice in a blender. Afterwards, Warrior would tell Sting that he was getting his dose of protein and Vitamin C for the day.
This likely confirms that Sting and WWE are together. We previously reported that Sting officially signed with WWE, only for conflicting reports to come out regarding the matter. On a related note, WWE officials reportedly told security to confiscate any signs for Sting during the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
Editor’s Note
As noted, I believe this means that WWE and Sting are officially together. Now, It will be interesting to see if/when Sting appears on WWE programming. Additionally, it appears that this interview was shot in “NOLA,” as the first-part of “Warrior Week” featured footage of Warrior during WrestleMania XXX weekend. This likely means that Sting met with WWE officials while he was in New Orleans for WrestleCon.
