The current and only UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has not been shy about her love of professional wrestling. Rousey and her “Four Horsewomen” group attended this year’s WWE “SummerSlam” event, and even appeared in a backstage video with Stephanie McMahon at the event. Four of MMA’s toughest women helped McMahon perform the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, following her match with Brie Bella.
Rousey has even interacted with Roman Reigns and other WWE Superstars and Divas through various social media outlets. Rousey is good friends with WWE Diva Natalya, who helped get the Four Horsewomen to “SummerSlam.” Rousey and Natalya reportedly train together throughout the year as well.
Rousey, who holds a record of 10-0 in MMA, recently appeared at a Pro Wrestling Guerrilla event on Friday, Oct. 17. The promotion, often abbreviated PWG, hails from Reseda, California, close to Venice, California, where Rousey currently resides.

TMZ.com also picked up on Rousey’s appearance, and provided details on her role at the event. According to the website, Rousey was urged to enter the ring by one of the babyfaces, Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa wanted Rousey to chop his opponent. With the crowd egging her on, Rousey would enter the ring and chop the heel, garnering a huge pop from the crowd.
Rousey also appeared with two members of the Four Horsewomen group: Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke. The three members of the group in attendance had no problem posing for pictures with the fans, and had a blast for the night.
Editor’s Note
Very neat. When Rousey does end her career in UFC, I wonder if WWE will look to bring her on in some capacity.
