TNA is reportedly claiming that they will have a new TV deal in place within 10 days of Oct. 16. The latest edition of “Wrestling Observer Radio” reports on the matter, saying TNA officials are informing business partners that a new deal with a television network should be finalized by Oct. 26.

Dixie Carter has reportedly been telling the TNA locker room that there may be another “shocking” announcement regarding a new talent acquisition soon. While no one really knows who Carter could be referring to, it’s interesting to note that some of TNA’s superstars have not yet been approached about signing new contracts, as their current deals are coming to an end.

Many believe that the company did not want to re-sign contracts without the promise of a new television deal in place. SpikeTV is not renewing its agreement with TNA and they have been shopping around to different networks. Velocity reportedly made TNA an offer, but there has been no confirmation or detail released on the matter since the initial report of an offer was made. If TNA does not secure a network soon, the landscape of the promotion could change drastically, if they even can afford to keep their doors open.

Editor’s Note:
Hmmm…I wonder who picked them up?
