One of the most long-lasting topics surrounding WWE involves an outside force, UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey. Following her surprise appearance at WrestleMania 31, there has been a lot of talk about Rousey coming on board with WWE. However, for now, it appears highly unlikely that Rousey will wrestle for WWE in the coming year.
As recently noted, actor David Spade was approached by TMZ, being asked to comment about the situation between Rousey and WWE. Spade criticized Rousey’s intentions, noting it would be a step backwards for the UFC fighter. Continuing, he believed she would be putting her health more at risk by wrestling for WWE.
Again, TMZ caught up with Ronda Rousey, asking for her response to David Spade’s comments. She kept it short and sweet, telling TMZ the following:
“I think that you have to be a fan of the sport to really understand how awesome it is, and it’s too bad he is not a fan. I’m diversifying my portfolio. It’s sweet of him to be so concerned, but I do dangerous stuff every day, and I usually break my toes on the way to the bathroom.”
