According to The Hollywood Reporter,  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may star in a movie version of the 1980s television show, The Fall Guy. On its website, Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Johnson is in negotiations with Hyde Park Entertainment to star in the big-screen remake. Hyde Park Entertainment will be helping along with the finances of the film as well as shopping the idea at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival next week.

Hyde Park Entertainment will also be receiving financial help from WWE Studios. If this movie ends up coming together with Hyde Park Entertainment and WWE Studios, it will be the first time that Johnson has starred in a film involving WWE since Walking Tall in 2004. As the idea is in its early stages, it still not known when Johnson will begin shooting for the film. At the moment, Johnson is wrapping up his work in Hercules and will then be set to begin shooting Fast and Furious 7.
