As we previously reported, WWE superstar Rob Van Dam is expected to return to the company in the near future. Van Dam, who was reportedly backstage at the recent “Monday Night Raw” at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., is rumored to face Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XXX.

As RVD has done on numerous occasions in the past, he took to Twitter on Thursday, Feb. 20, to answer questions from his fans on a wide variety of topics about his career in wrestling.

When asked when he would get back in a WWE ring, Van Dam tweeted the following, stating it will happen “soon:”

After returning to WWE at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Van Dam remained a staple on WWE programming heading into October of 2013. After he had lost to then World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio at the inaugural WWE Battleground, he was written off television in order to take some time off. His contract reportedly has him work in three-month increments, with WWE  granting him time off afterwards.

Only time will tell if Van Dam does return for WrestleMania XXX season, but its likeliness continues to increase. With the build into Elimination Chamber complete, perhaps the Feb. 24 edition of the program, which coincides with the launch of WWE Network will see RVD return.
