With WrestleMania 31 in the rear view mirror, and its fallout already underway, some WWE stars will transition off of WWE programming for the coming months. First, on the March 30 showing of “Monday Night Raw,” former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was storyline suspended indefinitely due to a tirade he launched upon Seth Rollins not granting him a championship rematch that night.
In addition to Lesnar, the WWE Universe has likely seen the last of The Undertaker and Sting for the foreseeable future. Both men were slated to appear on the March 30 “Monday Night Raw,” but neither of the two would end up appearing on the program. However, Sting would make a live in-ring appearance on the WWE Network after “Raw” went off the air. Within the appearance, Sting did not close the door on his WWE career, saying if WWE comes calling, he would gladly discuss business.
Taker, on the other hand, did not appear in front of the San Jose crowd in any capacity. Still, the WWE Universe has likely not seen the last of “The Deadman,” as he is featured in preliminary advertisements for WrestleMania 32, which hails from Arlington, Texas. At “The Show of Shows,” The Undertaker has been rumored to go one-on-one with Sting.
The rumors of The Undertaker and Sting finally facing off in 2016 were fueled when the two were spotted chatting at a San Jose airport on Tuesday, March 31. The two men who currently reside in Texas were presumably on their way home following WrestleMania festivities. According to one fan post, the duo were taking the same flight to Dallas.
Below are some fan photographs of the meeting between the two icons:

Awesome, I’m optimistic that we see these two square off next year at WrestleMania 32.
