WWE taped the June 4 edition of “Smackdown” on Tuesday, June 2, in Houston, Texas. The showing of “Smackdown” was the first following the “Elimination Chamber” pay-per-view. While it featured some fallout from the special event, it also served as a building block for the upcoming “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view,” which is less than two weeks away.
In addition to a WWE Tag Team Championship match being made official for “Money in the Bank,” another participant was added to the annual Money in the Bank Ladder match. The participant’s involvement in the match was announced during the show’s main event, which pitted Roman Reigns against Sheamus.
The match ended when Kane ran interference, first attacking Reigns. He then proceeded to also lay out Sheamus. After his physical statement, Kane made a verbal one, announcing his entrance into the year’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. As of this writing, seven men are confirmed for the 2015 Money in the Bank Ladder match: Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Neville, Kofi Kingston, and Kane.
Editor’s Note
At most, one more participant will be added. If Kane is the final man in, Roman Reigns will definitely walk away with the briefcase. You can take that to the bank.
