MVP Was Backstage at Thursday’s SmackDown Tapings

Former WWE superstar MVP was backstage at Thursday’s SmackDown tapings in Houston, Texas. The former United States Champion mentioned not to jump to conclusions because he was backstage in order to visit some friends. MVP is coming off of his most recent run with New Japan Pro Wrestling. He was with the company from 2011 until his departure in February of 2013.

As you can see there is an eye patch on the eye of MVP. He said on Twitter that he suffered a poke to the eye during jiu-jitsu training.
