TVByTheNumbers.com has revealed the cable viewership numbers and ratings for Monday, July 7, 2014. This week, WWE came in second, as it was bested by VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” The edition of “Monday Night Raw” averaged 4.38 million viewers, up more than one percent from last week.
The hourly breakdown goes as follows:
Hour 1: 4.18 million viewers
Hour 2: 4.51 million viewers
Hour 3: 4.45 million viewers
The breakdown did not mimic previous trends, which saw viewership increase throughout the entire show. Though, viewership was always up from the first hour. Unlike past episodes, viewership was not at its peak for the third and final hour. On the July 7 showing of the program, the third hour featured WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena going one-on-one with Money in the Bank briefcase holder Seth Rollins.
Once again, this edition of “Monday Night Raw” garnered a 1.6 rating for adults aged 18-49. This is on par from last week. With an average of 4.38 million viewers, it is the most viewed episode of the program since the April 28 showing.
Editor’s Note
It’s great to see viewership increasing, as WWE’s television continues its strong surge. Maintaining viewership at this level will be key, as the intense build to “SummerSlam” fast approaches.
