On May 11, WWE aired the final edition of its flagship program, “Monday Night Raw,” before the 2015 “Payback” pay-per-view event. The show featured the returns of WWE COO Triple H, and former Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan, who vacated his title due to injury.
According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the “go-home” showing of “Monday Night Raw” for “Payback” obtained an average of 3.690 million viewers. The figure is up more than 100,000 from last week’s number of 3.570 million, which was the lowest mark of 2015.

Hour 1: 3.824 million viewers
Hour 2: 3.853 million viewers
Hour 3: 3.385 million viewers
As seen in the hour-by-hour viewership, the third hour of “Monday Night Raw” tanked. Just as the second hour wrapped up, TNT began its broadcast of a NBA Playoff matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors. The game obtained the highest viewership among cable programs for the night, with WWE coming in second. Though, “Monday Night Raw” finished third in terms of ratings for adults aged 18-49, garnering a rating of 1.4. For the demographic, WWE trailed the NBA Playoff game, in addition to VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” series.
