As we recently noted, Mickie James and Rikishi are being discussed as possible inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame, in 2015. Joining Rikishi and James would be none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is being discussed as the headliner for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Now, according to PWInsider, Kevin Nash is also on the “maybe” list for an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame next year. At this year’s WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Nash appeared, inducting his good friend and former tag team partner, Scott Hall, known as Razor Ramon in the WWF.
The controversy that arose after WWE decided to induct Scott Hall as Razor Ramon could certainly pop up again. Nash has had three stints in WWE. His most notable work for the company came from 1993-1996 as Diesel. During this stint, Nash was a one-time WWF and Intercontinental Champion, as well as a two-time WWF Tag Team Champion.
Nash then jumped ship to WCW, with Hall, and the two eventually founded the New World Order alongside Hulk Hogan. In WCW, Hall and Nash were arguably at their peak popularity. Following WWE’s purchase of WCW, the two had a brief stint with the company in the early 2000s. Unlike Hall, Nash has had a third stint with the company, as Nash returned in 2011, working events such as “SummerSlam” and “Tables, Ladders, & Chairs.”
Editor’s Note
As noted in the report, it will be interesting to see if Nash is inducted under his real name or Diesel. Nonetheless, I would love to see Kevin Nash be part of the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class.
