On the Feb. 16 showing of “Monday Night Raw,” Seth Rollins name-dropped “The Daily Show” and its host Jon Stewart. Stewart was in the news at the time because he shockingly announced that he will be leaving “The Daily Show” at some point in the coming months. Rollins took the opportunity to incorporate this into his promo, mentioning how the show has become “unwatchable,” and that he could do a better job than Stewart hosting it.
In response, on Feb. 19, Jon Stewart cut a retaliatory promo on Seth Rollins. Within it, he called Rollins out, in addition to his lackeys Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble, J&J Security. Watch Stewart’s promo below:

Interestingly enough, the above video was published on WWE’s YouTube page. Additionally, the story was broken by TMZ, which has not-so-coincidentally broken many other WWE stories in the past. Due to this, there has been some fan speculation that Jon Stewart, an avid wrestling fan, may very well show up on WWE programming to confront Rollins.
Rollins would even call out Stewart in a tweet, in which he linked to Stewart’s video:

Additionally, Rollins made an appearance for TMZ, in which he invited Stewart to the “Fastlane” pay-per-view on Sunday, Feb. 22:

Editor’s Note
I was never an avid watcher of “The Daily Show,” but I love Jon Stewart. It would be awesome to see him show up on “Monday Night Raw.” It definitely seems like a possibility.
