WWE Hall of Famer and former commentator Jim Ross recently updated his Q&A section on his website, JRsBarBq.com. During the update, Ross answered a number of questions asked by readers regarding wrestling’s hottest topics such as Hulk Hogan and Undertaker working WrestleMania XXX and many others.
“Good Ol’ JR” responded with the following regarding a question asking who would best be suited for wrestling The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX:
“In today’s climate the WWE star to try and beat Taker at WM in Taker’s last match would likely be Cena.”
Ross also answered a question about the impact that Hulk Hogan will have if/when he returns to WWE:
“I blogged that Hogan should be a part of WM30 months ago. WWE needs attractions to compliment their regular roster. I think, if properly positioned in a believable role that Hogan can help create more awareness for WM30.”
Jim Ross also stated the following about a question that asked about the commentary team focusing on tweets rather than the match, along with secondary titles not getting prestige storylines:
“I’m of the belief that the ‘sound track’ of pro wrestling bouts IE the commentary needs to be tweaked to embrace more of the action so the viewer can invest in what they are seeing more efficiently. Personal issue storylines generally out perform the Title scenarios especially in recent years.”
