The viewership numbers for the Jan. 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw” are in. According to TvByTheNumbers.com, WWE led the way last night in terms of viewership with the episode of Raw averaging 4,718,000 viewers. However, although WWE topped the charts, the numbers were down three percent from the previous week, which featured the return of Batista.
The first “Monday Night Raw” after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view started strong with 4,849,000 viewers in the first hour, which featured Daniel Bryan and The Authority reflecting on the previous night’s Royal Rumble match. Viewership remained hot for the second hour as it slightly dropped to 4,837,000 viewers. However, as is the case for most nights, viewership dropped considerably for the third and final hour. The final hour of the show averaged 4,470,000 viewers, down almost 400,000 viewers from the first hour.
In addition to having a strong week in terms of viewership, WWE’s ratings were also strong. TvByTheNumbers.com also noted that WWE topped programs with a 1.7 rating for adults aged 18-49 for “Monday Night Raw.”
