During a WWE live event on Saturday, April 12, it appears that WWE Superstar Darren Young tore his ACL, a devastating injury for any athlete. Darren Young took to his Twitter account, @DarrenYoungWWE, to talk about the injury, revealing that he underwent successful ACL surgery, after he was unable to tough it out.
Below is Young’s tweet regarding his injury:

Young suffered his injury at the WWE live event in Hidalgo, Tex. at the Sate Farm Arena on Saturday, April 12, as perviously mentioned. At the live event, Young went one-on-one with Fandango, who ended up besting Young. The match was very short and Fandango won via a count-out, following Young landing awkwardly outside of the ring after hitting a flying axe handle on Fandango.
The match was presumably cut short due to Young’s injury. Following the match, many agents from WWE, including Finlay, came to the aid of Darren Young. Young was eventually able to get himself to the back, but with a noticeable limp.
Editor’s Note
Myself, and the entire WrestlingRumors.net team, wish Darren Young a safe road to recovery, as he begins rehabilitation.
