The first edition of “Smackdown” following “Survivor Series” was taped on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The episode will air on Nov. 28, and featured Daniel Bryan’s return to “Smackdown.” Once again, Bryan served as the acting General Manager of the show. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion used his power to announce the second match for the “TLC” pay-per-view.
Prior to Bryan’s announcement, Ryback faced Seth Rollins in singles action. The close, back-and-forth match would come to a halt too early, as Kane interfered. Kane attacked Ryback, giving “The Big Guy” a win via disqualification. Kane was looking for revenge due to being humiliated by Ryback during his stint as Concessions Kane on the Nov. 24 “Monday Night Raw.” Kane made Ryback pay, delivering steel chair shots to the towering behemoth.
Afterwards, Bryan utilized his power to announce a match between Ryback and Kane at “TLC.” The two giants will face off in a Chairs match. The bout joins Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match as the only matches confirmed for the “TLC” pay-per-view.
Editor’s Note
Hopefully we get a good match from Kane and Ryback. Kane, the veteran, should be a good opponent for Ryback, as he will have to work his way up the ladder, in order to return to the main event scene.
