At the moment of this writing, WWE is taping the June 13 edition of “Smackdown” at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. During the show, a match pitted Dean Ambrose against Bray Wyatt. The winner of the match would be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder match at “Money in the Bank.”
The match would see Bray Wyatt pick up the victory, qualifying for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder match. Wyatt picked up the victory thanks to some interference from former Shield member Seth Rollins. Rollins’ interference allowed Wyatt to hit “Sister Abigail” on Ambrose to end the bout.
Wyatt joins four other participants in the match: Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, and Randy Orton. As we previously reported, today, June 10, plans called for Bray Wyatt and John Cena to be added to this match for WWE’s most prestigious title. If Cena were to be added, just one spot would remain, as WWE has made it clear that only seven men will have a chance to claim the gold at “Money in the Bank.”

Editor’s Note
While Wyatt chasing championship gold may not make sense for the character, I still like his inclusion in the match. Wyatt won’t win, but would still have an important role, tormenting the other opponents. Wyatt’s impact would certainly be felt regardless.
