Following CM Punk’s revealing tell-all story on episode 226 of Colt Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast, Ryback was just one of many controversial individuals or topics to come under fire. Within the interview, Punk said Ryback took 20 years off of his life, as a result from Ryback’s reckless ring work during their two feuds in late 2012 and mid-to-late 2013. “The Big Guy” took to Twitter twice to comment on Punk’s accusations. The first time, Ryback was in a playful mood. Though, the second time, Ryback was more serious, calling out Punk.
Ryback was recently a guest on the “Zach McCrite Show,” a radio program on 107.7 The Franchise in Oklahoma City. WWE was in the city on Tuesday, Dec. 2, to tape the Dec. 5 edition of “Smackdown.”
In the interview, Punk came up as a topic. This time around, Ryback took a more calm approach to addressing the subject, while still remaining serious. Ryback said he felt betrayed that Punk went behind his back to Vince McMahon, and that Punk’s comments were not true. Ryback denied that he intentionally broke Punk’s ribs, and wished Punk would have spoken to him directly about it. “Big Hungry” would continuously wish Punk the best, and hopes to reconcile with Punk in WWE.
Listen to Ryback’s thoughts on Punk below. Ryback also hit on “putting him [Punk] over” on numerous occasions:

Nice to see Ryback take a somewhat more logical and calm approach to addressing the matter.
