WWE Announces Latest Hall of Fame Inductee

The latest inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame has been revealed, as USA Today has reported that former Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix will be inducted this year in Orlando.

The announcement isn’t much of a surprise, as it’s been rumored for several weeks. She’ll join Kurt Angle, Diamond Dallas Page, Theodore Long, and the Rock N’ Roll Express in this year’s class.

WWE released the following statement regarding Beth Phoenix’s induction.

“Beth Phoenix, one of the most dominant female competitors in sports-entertainment, will take her rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame when she is inducted as part of the Class of 2017 during WrestleMania 33 Week.”
