Next year’s WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans will likely be headlined by a Universal Championship match between the champion, Brock Lesnar, and the challenger, Roman Reigns. But, who will headline the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2018?

In this week’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that the headliner for the 2018 Hall of Fame class could very well end up being Batista. He also noted that WWE will headline next year’s ceremony with The Rock or The Undertaker if either man expresses interest in being inducted.

Batista’s last WrestleMania match was at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, where he tapped out to Daniel Bryan in the show’s main event. He ended up leaving the company shortly thereafter, and he hasn’t been back since.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has expressed interest in having his retirement match with his mentor, Triple H. So, maybe that match will happen at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome next spring.
