Kenny Omega is currently the hottest free agent in all of professional wrestling, and there’s a strong chance that he could end up heading to WWE at some point in the near future.
In recent weeks, Omega’s name has come up quite a bit when people have been talking about possible surprise entrants in this year’s Royal Rumble. On Saturday, an Instagram user by the name of “grinningmasque” pumped up the “Omega at the Royal Rumble” rumor when he posted a photo of an autograph that he received from the NJPW superstar. In the autograph, which you can check it out below, Omega added “#30.”

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Omega’s deal with New Japan doesn’t expire until January 31, which is two days after the Royal Rumble event. If the report is accurate, then Omega won’t be able to appear in the Rumble, unless WWE can work something out with New Japan.
Omega said during a recent appearance on the Taz Show that it wouldn’t take much for him to go to WWE. Essentially, all he wants is to hear a few good ideas from them, and then he’ll be all in.
