The Rock has appeared at every single WrestleMania event since he returned to WWE in 2011. But, it’s been nearly four years since we’ve seen him have a competitive match at the event. Will he wrestle at this year’s Mania? According to Cageside Seats, the answer to that question is no.

In their latest “rumor roundup” article, they reported that Vince McMahon is telling people in the company that The Rock will be in Orlando on April 2, but he won’t be wrestling on the show.

“Not terribly surprising, but Vince McMahon told his team that while The Rock will be in Camping World Stadium on April 2, he won’t be wrestling.”

The Rock’s last official match took place at last year’s WrestleMania, where he defeated Erick Rowan in just six seconds. But, as previously mentioned, The Great One’s last competitive match took place at WrestleMania 29, where he lost the WWE Championship to John Cena in the show’s main event.
