Batista was the guest on this past Friday’s Talk is Jericho podcast, where he spent the majority of the interview talking about his acting career. But, towards the end, Chris Jericho asked him some WWE-related questions, one of which was about working with Brock Lesnar.

Both Lesnar and Batista were a part of Ohio Valley Wrestling — WWE’s developmental system at the time — in the early 2000s, where they worked with each other quite a bit. However, they only worked together once when they were called up to the main roster, and the match wasn’t even on television.

“I only worked with Brock in OVW,” said Batista. “He worked one house show in WWE, be he just jobbed me out. It was a total squash match. I hadn’t even….we had been with Evolution.”

Jericho then asked Batista if he’d be interested in coming back to work with Lesnar, but the ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion didn’t seem to open to that idea, as he responded by saying “I don’t know if I want Brock to drop me on my head.”
