We’ve thrown out the idea of The Beast Incarnate vs. The Wyatt Family at Wrestlemania in April. However, the assumption was that it would be Bray Wyatt vs. Lesnar at the feud’s core, and they’d be wrestling each other in Dallas in front of that massive crowd. However, WWE seems to be going in another unexpected direction.
According to PWInsider.com, there is a strong push within WWE for Brock Lesnar to face “The Black Sheep” Braun Strowman at Wrestlemania in a battle of the strongmen.
There isn’t anything wrong with that match, but many extremely powerful people in WWE are against the idea because they’re not sure if Strowman can handle such a high profile match against Lesnar at WrestleMania with so little singles experience. The high pressure of the situation may prove to be too much too fast for him.
Another issue is how WWE will book Bray Wyatt for the big show. Having him at ringside in Strowman’s corner seems like a mistake after he’s headlined two straight Wrestlemanias against John Cena and The Undertaker.
