The problem with following rumors is something they are created out of thin air. All the promise and hope of a rumor is taken away, and the wind gets blown out of your sails.

As WWE fans and members of the “Yes Movement”, this has become a common occurrence over the last year and unfortunately, this week is no different.

Only yesterday, the rumor came out that Daniel Bryan would be revisiting Dr. Joesph Maroon to reevaluate his health and figure out if he can be cleared by WWE to return to the ring.

That rumor led to a ton of speculation that if Bryan were cleared this week, he could return to the WWE ring as early as this Sunday’s “Royal Rumble” PPV.

Unfortunately, it is now being reported by several sources, including the Wrestling Observer that Daniel Bryan is not being evaluated by Dr. Maroon to return to the WWE ring this week, and his wrestling career is still very much up in the air.

According to Dave Meltzer, “[Bryan is] in and out, no appointment with Maroon.” Instead, Daniel Bryan will be in Pittsburgh only for an appearance at World of Wheels. For now, the confusion about what the future holds for Daniel Bryan will continue.
