Every single year, WWE makes the point to sell this year’s Wrestlemania as the “biggest of all time.” Sometimes that’s true and other times it’s not. This year, it’s undeniable, and we’re still over three weeks away from April 3rd in Dallas.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the WWE Universe has not only almost sold out the AT&T Stadium in Dallas for the event.
As of today, Wrestlemania 32 has sold eighty-four thousand tickets for the event as of this writing. Once the event sells out, the final tally will be just north of that total unless WWE decides to open the standing room only seats, which will continue to spike the number.
Needless to say, next month’s Wrestlemania is going to be the biggest event in WWE history. The former record for ticket sales to a WWE live event was previously held by Summerslam 1992.
At that event, there were a little more than seventy-nine thousand tickets sold. WWE will round the Wrestlemania III figure to exceed ninety-three thousand, but in reality, it was closer to seventy-eight thousand tickets sold to see Hogan bodyslam Andre the Giant live.
However, eighty-four thousand for Wrestlemania 32 is a very real number and it’s possible that WWE will announce the attendance as being over one-hundred thousand people for the event.
Are you going to be one of one-hundred thousand at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas?
