Ever since Wrestlemania weekend ended, Becky Lynch has been feuding with Emma. It’s begun to get personal, and now Emma has brought an old friend from NXT to the main roster to get the upper hand and the numbers game over Lynch.
On Monday Night Raw, Dana Brooke debuted, reformed the partnership with Emma, and helped in a two on one attack on Becky to make a statement.
Brooke’s transition from NXT to the main roster has progressed quickly since she was only just medically cleared to wrestle a few weeks ago. However, she was brought to the main roster for a specific reason.
According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, Dana Brooke’s main roster debut and reunion with Emma was to fill the void left over from the injuries that were sustained by both Team B.A.D members Naomi and Tamina Snuka.
The powers that be really enjoyed the Dana and Emma combination in NXT, so they’ve decided to allow their partnership to continue on the main roster.
The argument could be made that Dana Brooke isn’t ready to be on the main roster, especially when there are women like Bayley waiting in NXT, but WWE thinks Becky Lynch vs. Brooke and Emma will work, and it’s good enough to keep The Lass Kicker busy, which is a good thing.
Do you think the combination of Dana Brooke and Emma will be successful on the main roster?
