The WWE Universe has been begging to see Sting vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania for many years. It has become the dream match of all dream matches of WWE because it seems to be destined for remain a fantasy.
When Sting was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, he announced his retirement from the ring. Shortly after Wrestlemania 32, Undertaker told everyone he could find that he had his last match.
With both men’s careers being in their final days, there doesn’t seem to be much hope for the WWE Universe to finally see Sting vs. Undertaker on the grandest stage of them all.
However, Sting has breathed some new life into the possibility of having the match once and for all. According to a report from Inquisitir.com, Sting revealed recently that he still has “unfinished business in WWE.”
The Icon is referring to the match with The Undertaker. Although he claimed that he was retiring during his Hall of Fame speech earlier this year, Sting revealed that he has yet to get neck surgery and may not until after he accomplishes everything he wanted to do in WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed the following:
“That’s the unfinished business — I’ve always wanted to have that match [with The Undertaker], and I know that wrestling fans have always wanted to see it too.”
